Tim Semar Urban UGM menorehkan prestasi terbaik pada ajang SEM 2023 di Sirkuit Mandalika dan berhasil menjadi pemenang untuk kategori bahan bakar hidrogen, mengalahkan NTU Singapura dan Temasek Polytechnic Singapura.
Tim dari Universitas Gadjah Mada yakni Semar Proto UGM unggul di peringkat pertama dengan catatan terbaik di angka 779,6 km/kWh.

Semar UGM picked up a total prize of $2500 at Shell Eco-Marathon 2022 Indonesia held at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara, on 11-15 October 2022.
Universitas Gadjah Mada focuses on handling global energy issues through its impressive team, the UGM Semar Team. UGM Semar team developed two energy-efficient cars and competed in the well-known international competition, Shell Eco-Marathon 2021.
The legendary 2021 Shell Eco-marathon program is now over. Along with other teams from many renowned universities, Semar UGM participated in the competition series from October 2020 to July 2021.
SEMAR UGM continued to innovate in energy efficient cars research amidst the new normal circumstances. They developed two cars and competed in a well-known national level competition, namely the 2020 Energy-Efficient Car Contest (KMHE).
